100% authentic Kanchipuram silk, handwoven by skilled artisans in Kanchipuram, India—often called the City of a Thousand Temples.
The silk used in this piece is produced using the traditional Kanchipuram weaving method, a highly specialized process native to Tamil Nadu. Pure mulberry silk yarns are individually dyed and meticulously warped on handlooms, then woven using a dense interlocking technique with real gold zari threads. This process gives Kanchipuram silk its signature strength, weightless drape, and luminous surface, while the zari adds lasting depth and radiance.
